Every year, in honor of the birth anniversary of the freedom fighter Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Vigilance Awareness Week is organized to raise awareness among the public about combating corruption. This year’s initiative emphasizes the slogan “Say no to Corruption; Commit to the Nation,” which has been prominently displayed with banners at various government offices, including the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation’s headquarters and the Vishnudas Bhave Auditorium for public viewing.
Apart from this, a collective pledge to uphold integrity and fight against corruption has been taken by employees at all Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation offices.
At the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation headquarters, a significant number of officials and employees gathered in the amphitheater to take this collective pledge.
Furthermore, the contact information for the Anti-Corruption Bureau’s Thane region has been made available at all municipal offices. Citizens can reach out to the bureau through phone at 022-27833344 or 8355901447 and via email at dyspacbnm@gmail.com or dyspacbnavimumbai@mahapolice.gov.in to report corruption-related matters.
