Navi Mumbai :- Following the directives of the Maharashtra government, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has announced the organization of a People’s Day (Lokshahi Din) on the first Monday of every month at their headquarters. The Lokshahi Din for the month of December is set to take place on December 4, 2023.
Residents are invited to submit their applications for various civic issues until November 20, 2023. The applications should be submitted in the prescribed format, labeled as ‘Lokshahi Dinakarita Arj,’ which can be obtained from the municipal headquarters or downloaded from the official website, www.nmmc.gov.in.
Notably, these applications should pertain to matters related to civil justice, revenue or appeals, or establishment-related concerns, excluding issues such as legal disputes and property tax appeals. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications directly to the respective department offices prior to the People’s Day event.
The corporation emphasizes that the applications should be specific to a single department or subject matter. During the People’s Day event, the municipal corporation will not accept complaints or appeals that are not aligned with the guidelines mentioned in the public notice.
Residents are also advised to attach any necessary documents to support their applications. In case an application is not individual in nature and has already been addressed in a prior response, a fresh application on the same subject matter will not be accepted.
The designated location for submitting these applications is the Municipal Corporation’s headquarters, Jan Sampark Vibhag, Third Floor, Near Kille Gaon, CBD, Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The official application form can be downloaded from the website www.nmmc.gov.in.
This initiative aims to provide an opportunity for the residents of Navi Mumbai to voice their concerns and grievances directly to the municipal authorities and seek prompt solutions to their issues during the People’s Day event.
