Mira Bhayandar :- In a recent development, the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has announced a Diwali bonus for its officers and staff. The decision was taken during a meeting held on November 2, 2023, chaired by the Commissioner and Administrator of the MBMC, Mr. Sanjay Katkar (IAS).
The bonus, or ‘Sanugrah Anudan’ as it is known in Marathi, will be granted to municipal employees for the fiscal year 2023-24. This generous grant is an extension of the bonuses awarded in the previous year, which was for the fiscal year 2022-23.
The bonus will be distributed among various categories of employees, including permanent and temporary officers and staff, computer operators, kindergarten teachers (under the Maternity Benefit Act), leprosy and malaria supervisors, R.B.S.K. pathak, National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) workers (under the Maternity Benefit Act), clerks, and many more.
