Meera Bhayandar :- The Meera Bhayandar Municipal Corporation, through its Information and Public Relations Department, successfully conducted the distribution of goods at the RRR Center in Ganesh Deol Nagar on November 5, 2023. The event was graced by the presence of Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Katkar (IAS), who inaugurated the distribution ceremony. Other officials, including Ravi Pawar, Assistant Commissioner Kavita Borkar, Vikram Pratap, Ashok Tiwari, Rita Shah, Sunita Bhoir, and Daroga Pandey, were also in attendance.
The distribution event witnessed a massive turnout of citizens and children, who came to collect the provided goods. The organization “Making The Difference” played a crucial role in facilitating the distribution of various items, such as clothing, footwear, utensils, toys, electronics, and more. Approximately 10 tons of items were distributed free of cost to the community. Citizens who had previously contributed clothes and goods were also invited to be part of this heartwarming event.
The distribution took place at one of the 15 RRR Centers located in the city. The RRR Centers are instrumental in ensuring that essential items reach those in need, making a positive impact on the community. Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Katkar (IAS), expressed his satisfaction with the event, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in the city.
Citizens enthusiastically participated in the event, donating their surplus items to support this noble cause, and, in turn, received goods free of charge. The Meera Bhayandar Municipal Corporation remains committed to continuing such community-driven initiatives to benefit its residents.
