Mr. Swapnil Desai, an engineer with over 15 years of experience in water management and environmental engineering, has made a significant impact through his research. His paper, titled “Design and Feasibility Analysis of Ultra-Filtration Tertiary Treatment Plant for Industrial Water Production under the Amrit Mission in New Mumbai, Maharashtra,” has been published in the prestigious International Research Journal of Engineering and Technology (IRJET).

This accomplishment has garnered praise not only from Mr. Rajesh Narvekar, the Municipal Commissioner, but also from officials and colleagues at various levels. Mr. Desai’s extensive experience in water and environmental management, spanning more than 15 years, has been instrumental in carrying out various projects within the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation.

Mr. Desai, a mechanical engineer with an M.Tech in Energy Technology, is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering (Sanitary Engineering). He is also associated with renowned organizations such as the Institution of Engineers India, Institute for Engineering Research and Publication, Indian Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the International Solar Engineering Society (Germany), to name a few.

Mr. Desai has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the National Education Excellence Award from the AYCAN Foundation, the Research Excellence Award from IISc Bangalore, and the Innovative Research and Dedicated Excellent Professional Achievement Award from ISRP Chennai. His consistent pursuit of cutting-edge knowledge and research in various domains of water management and renewable energy has been a cornerstone of his success.

His work has previously been acknowledged in national and international forums, and now, with his paper published in the International Research Journal of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Desai has taken his contribution to the next level. His research is pivotal in ensuring industrial water quality and supporting the Amrit Mission’s objectives in Navi Mumbai.
