Palghar :- In a remarkable celebration of talent within the district, the Parichar Association, in collaboration with the Maharashtra State Zilla Parishad Employees Association, awarded the prestigious Palghar Ratna Awards for the very first time. The grand ceremony took place on September 10th at the Hutatma Auditorium in Parichar district, within the Zilla Parishad Palghar premises.
The primary objective of this event was to recognize and provide a platform for the exceptionally gifted individuals among the attendants in the district, marking a significant milestone in their professional journey.
Kailas Lahange and Kalpesh Koshimbe, both dedicated attendants working at Primary Health Centers, emerged as the shining stars of the evening. Kailas Lahange was honored with the Joint Palghar Ratna Award for his outstanding contribution as a painter, while Kalpesh Koshimbe received the Joint Palghar Ratna Award for his remarkable skills as an instrumentalist and musician. Their achievements added a new dimension to the recognition of talent within the district.
The awards were presented by notable figures, including Bhausaheb Pathan, President of the State Group ‘D’ Staff Federation Ministry, and Sandeep Chaudhary, State President of the Maharashtra State Zilla Parishad Attendant Association, under the guidance of Mukund Ture, State Secretary of the Attendant Staff Association Maharashtra State, Mahesh Rokade, Beed District Secretary, and Kishore Patil, State Coordinator of the Parichar Association, and President of Zilla Parishad Palghar Parichar Association.
The event was attended by several esteemed individuals, including Arvind Khairnar, Secretary of the organization, Rajendra Varatha, Vice President, Rahul Vade, Working President, Madhukar Patil, Treasurer, Seema Chaudhar, Women’s Organizer, Kavita Jadhav, Kalpana Khupse, District Joint Secretary, and numerous executive members from the Panchayat Samiti Taluka.
Expressing his gratitude and joy at receiving the award, Kailas Lahange said, “I am very happy with this award, and nowhere among attendants have such awards been presented before. While teachers, village sevaks, and other employees and officials receive awards, this is the first time attendants have been recognized in this manner. I believe that programs like this should be initiated through the Zilla Parishad to provide a platform for the talent among us.”
Kalpesh Koshimbe, the talented musician and instrumentalist, echoed similar sentiments, stating, “I thank the president of the organization, Kishore Patil, and the entire organization for organizing this event. There is no greater happiness for me than receiving an award in the field of music.”
During the district meeting, various key issues were discussed, including time-bound promotions, 2017 Anukampa appointments, and the inclusion of nurses, junior assistants, and color therapists, who will receive their salaries on the 5th of every month along with monthly salary slips. Furthermore, it was revealed that this year, 170 new attendants were registered, marking a positive step forward in the district.
The Palghar Ratna Awards not only celebrated the talent within the attendants’ community but also highlighted the importance of recognizing excellence in every profession. This inaugural event has set a promising precedent for similar initiatives that can provide deserving individuals with the recognition they truly deserve.
