Mira-Bhainder :- In a significant step towards modernizing administrative processes, Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has embarked on a journey to equip its Class 1 and Class 2 officers with essential E-Office training. Under the visionary leadership of Mira Bhayander Municipal Commissioner and Administrator, Mr. Sanjay Shripatrao Katkar (I.A.S.), this initiative is set to streamline operations and promote transparency within the municipal administration.
The training session took place on September 14, 2023, at Nagar Bhavan in Bhayandar (W), and was conducted in collaboration with the National Informatics Center (NIC), a key governmental institution responsible for spearheading digital transformation initiatives.
Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation recognizes the importance of adopting modern technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of its administrative functions. To achieve this, all departments within the corporation have been integrated into the NIC E-Office system, which is known for its ability to make government operations more dynamic and transparent.
In line with this commitment, the municipal administration is in the process of establishing a dedicated E-Office department. The Information and Technology Department is actively overseeing the implementation of the E-Office system across all municipal departments, ensuring a smooth transition to this digital platform.
The training session itself was led by Mr. Suresh Sura, Project Manager at the National Informatics Center. Class 1 and Class 2 officers of MBMC were provided with comprehensive training on the E-Office system, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to harness the potential of this innovative tool.
The adoption of E-Office technology by Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation signifies a commitment to modernize operations, reduce paperwork, and enhance transparency in government functions.
