Navi Mumbai :- In a special ceremony held at the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC), retiring employees were honored for their dedicated service. The event was presided over by Mr. Rajesh Narvekar, Commissioner of NMMC, who extended his best wishes to the retirees.
As per the prescribed retirement age in NMMC, September marks the month when several key employees retire. Among those who bid farewell to their roles were Mr. Suryabhan Kalwar, Chief Principal, and Mr. Ganesh Bhalekar, Senior Clerk and Tax Inspector. Both of them were recognized for their valuable contributions during their tenure.
Commissioner Rajesh Narvekar presented them with tokens of appreciation, including shawls, mementos, and books. He commended their dedicated service and wished them success in their future endeavors.
The ceremony was attended by additional officials, including Ms. Sujata Dhole and Mr. Vijaykumar Mhasale, as well as Mr. Sanjay Desai, the Chief Engineer, and Mr. Sharad Pawar, the Commissioner of the Administration Department. Dr. Babasaheb Rajale, Commissioner of the Municipal Administration Department, and Dr. Rahul Gethe, Commissioner of the Encroachment Department, were also present. Ms. Mangala Malve, Commissioner of the Store Department, and other officers and retired employees attended the event.
