Mira-Bhayander :- In a momentous event, the Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation celebrated the Bhoomipujan ceremony for the establishment of the Bharatratna Swa.Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Sangeet Vidyalaya (Gurukul) at Padma Bhushan Major Dhyan Chand Maidan (Reservation No. 246), Mira Road (East). This initiative falls under the Government’s “Development of Basic Amenities” scheme, and it was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Hon. Chief Minister Mr. Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Ajit Pawar.
The ceremony was further embellished by the presence of Mr. Pratap Sarnaik, Member of Legislative Assembly, and witnessed the auspicious participation of senior singer Shri. Usha Mangeshkar, Hon. MLA Shri Pratap Sarnaik, Hon. MLA Geeta Jain, and Hon. Commissioner and Administrator Sanjay Shripatrao Katkar (I.A.S.).
Following the traditional Bhoomi Pujan ceremony, a delightful musical program was organized at the Bharat Ratna Gansamragji Lata Mangeshkar Natyagriha, where attendees were transported into the world of timeless melodies sung by the legendary Lata Mangeshkar herself.
