Vasai-Virar :- Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation’s Fire Department organized a free “Yoga Camp” under the guidance of Patanjali Yoga Committee, Palghar, from September 4th to September 16th, 2023. This camp witnessed the participation of a total of 200 officials and firefighters from the Fire Department, who have greatly benefited from the yoga sessions.
Through this yoga training, participants have experienced significant positive changes in their mental and physical well-being, which they have integrated into their daily lives. The initiative was inspired and guided by the Municipal Commissioner, Mr. Anil Kumar Pawar, and was successfully executed.
During the closing ceremony of the Yoga Camp, Patanjali Yoga Committee, Palghar, honored the officials with a memento, and Mr. Ramesh Manale, Additional Municipal Commissioner, and Mr. Pankaj Patil, Deputy Municipal Commissioner of the Fire Department, were felicitated with recognition and certificates.
This initiative not only promotes physical and mental health among firefighters but also highlights the importance of yoga as a holistic wellness practice.
