Thane :- The 16th National Convention, themed ‘Lighten to Enlighten,’ was inaugurated by Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais, organized by the Terapanth Professional Forum, a collective of Jain Terapanth professionals. The convention, held in Thane, witnessed the esteemed presence of spiritual leaders and prominent individuals.
The convention was graced by the presence of eminent personalities including the spiritual head of the Terapanth tradition, Acharya Mahashraman, Sadhvi Pramukha Shri Vishrut Vibha, Muni Mahavir Kumar, and various Jain Sadhus and Sadhvis. Notable attendees included Pankaj Ostwal, National President of the Terapanth Professional Forum, Madan Tated, Head of the Acharya Mahashraman Pravas Samiti, Gajraj Pagaria, former Mayor of Raipur, and others.
Governor Ramesh Bais lauded the Terapanth Professional Forum for its commendable contributions to society. He urged professionals to channel their efforts towards achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047, emphasizing the importance of setting ambitious goals for social welfare.
During his benediction, Acharya Mahashraman emphasized the significance of relinquishing vices and cultivating virtues to attain spiritual enlightenment. He highlighted the teachings of Acharya Tulsi’s Anuvrat and Acharya Mahapragya’s Preksha Dhyan techniques, advocating for these practices to foster societal harmony and moral values.
The convention served as a platform for professionals from the Terapanth community to gather, exchange ideas, and reflect on their role in shaping a brighter future for India. As the event concluded, attendees were left inspired to contribute positively to society, aligning with the convention’s theme of ‘Lighten to Enlighten.’
