Date: July 21, 2023 : In a significant administrative shakeup, the Maharashtra government has announced the transfer of several Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to various key positions across the state. Shri. Rajendra Shankar Kshirsagar (IAS:MH:2011), the Joint Secretary to the Chief Secretary Office, Mantralaya, Mumbai, has been appointed as the new Collector of Mumbai City, Mumbai.
Shri. Varsha Thakur-Ghuge (IAS:MH:2011), the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Nanded, will take charge as the new Collector of Latur.
Shri. Sanjay Chavan (IAS:MH:2011), who currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur, has been posted as the Additional Controller of Stamp in Mumbai.
Shri. Ayush Prasad (IAS:MH:2015), the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Pune, has been appointed as the new Collector of Jalgaon.
Smt. Buveneswari S (IAS:MH:2015), currently Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Dhule, will assume office as the new Collector of Washim.
Shri. Ajit Kumbhar (IAS:MH:2015), the Joint Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, has been transferred as the new Collector of Akola.
