Thane : Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has taken a significant step towards streamlining its administrative operations by implementing transfers of contract junior engineers across various departments. The decision aims to optimize the workforce distribution within the organization and enhance efficiency.
The transfer orders, issued by the Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters) of MBMC, Mr. Maruti Gaikwad, indicate the names of the contract junior engineers being transferred, along with their respective departments. The move encompasses a total of nine junior engineers who will now assume their responsibilities in new departments as mentioned in the official communication.
The contract junior engineers involved in the transfer are as follows:
Mr. Prajwal Vilas Patil, currently working in the Department of Public Works, will join the Water Supply Department.
Mr. Glory, serving in Division Office No.05 (Encroachment), will be transferred to Division Office No.06, with the contract junior engineer Shri. Ajit Pendhare taking his place.
A contract junior engineer from the Water Supply Department will be transferred to the Encroachment division.
Mr. Chanchal Thackeray, currently stationed in Division Office No.02, will move to Division Office No.04, involving work related to encroachments.
Mr. Pinak Sunil Lonushte, a contract junior engineer in Division Office No.04, will join the Water Supply Department. Meanwhile, Mr. Shubham Patil will take up the responsibilities in Division Office No.06, replacing him.
Contract Junior Engineer Shri. Durgadas Ahire, currently working in Division Office No.04, will move to Division Office No.05, with his role focused on encroachments.
Mr. Vikas Shelke, stationed in Division Office No.04, will be transferred to Division Office No.02, involving encroachment-related tasks. Mr. Sanjay Soni will take his place in Division Office No.06.
The transfer also includes a contract junior engineer currently assigned to the Encroachment division, who will relocate to another Encroachment division.
The MBMC has directed the concerned employees to promptly join their new departments within 24 hours and submit a written join report. The official order emphasizes that attendance should not be influenced by political or external pressure and warns of potential consequences for non-compliance.
