On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the Republic Day of India, The flag hoisting was done under the auspices of the Municipal Commissioner Shri. Abhijeet Bangar.

On this occasion Additional Commissioner Shm. Sujata Dhole and Shri. Sanjay Kakade and other department heads, officers, staff as well as police and fire brigade personnel were present. The flag hoisting ceremony was held in compliance with the Covid Prohibition Rules.

On this occasion, the presence of all the department heads including the commissioners in traditional attire wearing national headdresses was remarkable.

On the occasion of Republic Day, the iconic building of the corporation headquarters has been given attractive electric lighting in tricolor.
