State Urban Development and Thane District Guardian Minister Hon. Mr. Eknath Shinde inaugurated a Covid Center at Uttan (Chowk) of MBMC.
Mira-Bhayander : The newly constructed Covid Center at Uttan Chowk of Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation was inaugurated by Hon. Mr. Eknath Shinde, Urban Development and Thane District Guardian Minister. An 80-bed covid center has been set up at Uttan against the backdrop of a growing corona patients. The Covid Center will facilitate the treatment of Covid patients in the area. At the time MP Mr. Rajan Vichare and MLA Mrs. Geeta Jain, Commissioner of Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation Mr. Dilip Dhole, local office bearers, corporators, medical officers, municipal officers and employees were also present.
In the meantime, Mr. Shinde inspected the oxygen plant at the Municipal Corporation’s Appasaheb Dharmadhikari Hall Covid Hospital. During this time they reviewed oxygen management, remedescevir injections as well as a number of measures taken. He interacted with doctors, nurses and staff at the hospital. He also assured that there would be no shortage of oxygen-remedescevir injections, availability of beds and necessary facilities would be provided to the patients. He then visited the Covid War Room at the Municipal Headquarters. There will be no shortcomings in government-private hospital planning. Mr. Shinde while talking to reporters assured that there will be no discrimination in injecting oxygen and remedescevir. Taking note of the increasing number of accidents in the hospital, necessary instructions have also been given to the officials and employees of the corporation, he added.
Given the growing number of patients, the oxygen project should be increased, for which the state government will cooperate, assured Hon. Mr. Shinde in the meeting. He also gave the necessary instructions to expedite the corona vaccination campaign. Municipal Commissioner Shri. Dilip Dhole took complete information about vaccination planning. Detailed information about number of patients, oxygen management, condition of Covid hospitals, fire audit of hospitals, structural audit of hospitals, availability of injection of Remedescevir, vaccination campaign reviewed by Mr. Shinde through a PPT presentation. Noticing that the employees of the corporation were working day and night in the Covid epidemic, he also congratulated them and boosted their morale. He also congratulated the medical officers and doctors and gave them sweets.
