MBMC : Commissioner reviews measures in places during the deadly second wave of Corona Virus.

Mira-Bhayander (7 May): Against the backdrop of increasing incidence of Covid 19, Mira-Bhayander Municipal Commissioner Shri. Dilip Dhole did a review meeting with medical associations. Commissioner ordered to strictly implement the triad of ‘tests, patient detection and treatment’. He also Instructed to submit Oxygen, Electric, Structural and Fire Audit reports from time to time.

Commissioner’s instructed to private hospitals in stern terms that no harm should be done. All associations to ensure proper observance of the code of conduct for the treatment of Covid 19 as well as implementation of compulsory measures. In this meeting, Commissioner Shri. Dilip Dhole directed the medical officers to draw up the rules and implement them strictly. Medical officers of Bhayander Medical Association (BMA), Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IMA), National Integrative Medical Association (NIMA), Homoeopathic Integrative Medical Association (HIMPA), Mira Bhayander Family Physician Social Welfare Association (MBFSWA) etc. were present on the occasion.

Also, the medical officer of Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation, Dr. Jadhav, Dr. Pramod Padwal, Deputy Commissioner Vijay Kumar Mhasal, Executive Engineer Shri. Deepak Khambit was present. This time, officials from medical associations attended the meeting via video conference. The commissioner reviewed how the triad of ‘tests, patient discovery and treatment’ is being followed.

Even if a patient in a hospital OPD develops mild symptoms of corona, they should be tested for antigen immediately. So that if the patient is found to be infected with the corona, he can be treated in time, and other patients can be saved from the corona outbreak, said Mr. Dhole mentioned. There have been a number of accidents in hospitals in recent times.

The health of the people is a priority of the corporation and strict action will be taken against the hospitals which compromise their health. The corporation is always ready to work with Covid 19 and will continue to provide the necessary help to the patients, assured given by Shri. Dhole. Everyone is expected to cooperate for the release of Mira Bhayandar Corona. So that, many charitable organizations in Mira Bhayander area should participate in this campaign for the liberation of Corona, appealed Shri. Dhole did it this time.

Even though the number of corona patients is under control, it is imperative to implement the rules laid down by the state government to move towards ‘corona eradication’, Shri. Dhole said. Under the ‘Break the Chain’, the state government has imposed strict restrictions across the state till May 15, which requires private hospitals to comply with it. Dhole said this time.
