Mira-Bhayander : The number of corona patients in the state of Maharashtra has been on the rise since last month. On the same2 context, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Uddhav Thackeray Saheb announced strict restraining order in the state for 15 days from 8.00 pm on 14th April 2021. A more effective implementation of “Mission Break the Chain” has begun in view of the daily increasing number of Corona victims. In the same background, Mira Bhayander Municipal Commissioner Mr. Dilip Dhole interacted with the ward officers.
In this discussion, Mira Bhayander Municipal Commissioner Mr. Dilip Dhole gave some important instructions to the ward officers. In Mira Bhayandar, hawkers, vegetable sellers and vegetable marketers are not allowed to stand on the streets and sell in any way. Also, the vegetable market is not allowed to stand and sell in any way. They were also instructed to take punitive action against anyone found guilty.
The Municipal Commissioner has appealed to the citizens to ensure that there is no congestion in the city. When buying vegetables, buy enough for 3 to 4 days. So that citizens do not have to go out every day.
He also suggested that every society in the city should be given a vegetable seller. It was also directed to allow vegetable vendors in the city grounds and other planned places from 7.00 am to 11.00 am and also to allow fish market from 7.00 am to 11.00 am. He directed to take legal action against the vendors violating the rules.
Citizens of Mira Bhayandar should use MBMC Home Delivery App as well as other online shopping app to avoid any corona infection so that they do not violate any lockdown rules and gather in any place. He also appealed to the citizens to contact their nearest grocery stores and get the right items to their homes. He also appealed to hotels and restaurants to continue door-to-door service only.
At the same time, most of the citizens in Mira Bhayander are seen walking without masks. Also some hawkers and vegetable sellers are found not wearing masks. Officers were directed to take legal action against such persons and peddlers. As well as everywhere in the city surveillance was instructed through the CCTV camera.
Also, considering the large number of corona cases after March 10, the Municipal Commissioner Mr.
Dilip Dhole has paid special attention to the growth of hospital facilities which is an important part. The ward authorities were instructed to increase the number of beds in marriage halls, municipal buildings, etc. in order to provide adequate medical facilities to the covid positive patients according to the severity of their symptoms.
