Navi Mumbai : Considering the large number of Corona victims after March 10, Municipal Commissioner Shri. More effective implementation of ‘Mission Break the Chain’ has been initiated under the direction of Abhijeet Bangar. Particular attention is being paid to the enhancement of hospital facilities which is an important part of this and the hospital facilities are being expedited to provide appropriate medical facilities to the covid positive patients according to the severity of their symptoms.
To this end, the Covid Care Centers, which were temporarily closed after the spread of Covid began to decline, have been reactivated and Covid Care Centers are being set up in some new places.
In this regard, the 240-bed Covid Care Center at Lord’s and Melbourne Hostel in Kharghar Sector 19 has been commissioned from today. Similarly, CIDCO Exhibition Center, Sector 30, Vashi has a 250 bed capacity ‘Covid Care Center 2’ next to the Coveid Center with a capacity of 1200 beds. Thus, two new centers with a total of 490 covid care beds have been started and the admission of patients at these two centers has started from today.
