Navi Mumbai : Special vigilance teams recovered Rs 50,000 each from 7 restaurants and bars for violating the Covid guidelines.
Five out of the 31 vigilance teams set up at the headquarters level to take action against the violators of the coveted security rules have been directed to work with the police to take action against the violators at night. Presented by Municipal Commissioner Mr.Abhijeet Bangar.
The action taken by these special vigilance teams has been expedited. On March 27, 7 restaurants and bars in Belapur, Nerul, Sanpada and Koparkhairane areas were also fined. A total fine of Rs 3.50 lakh has been collected as Rs 50,000 by each restaurant.
These include Kalpana Bar in Sector 8 Nerul, Sai Hotel and Bar, Potoba Fast Food and Rud Lung Bar in Belapur, Krishna Restaurant and Bar in Sanpada and Classic Restaurant and Bar in Koparkhairane and Samudra Restaurant and Bar. A fine of Rs 50,000 has been levied on each of them and special vigilance teams are cracking down on violators of covid-19 safety rules in all departments. In connection with Holi and Dhulivandan festivals, special vigilance teams will also be on the lookout for violators of Covid security rules and government orders.
