Mumbai : A team of doctors of Vinayaka Hospital, located in Achole village of Nalasopara, has successfully conducted a surgery on a woman and removed a tumor of 12 kg, which is a major feat in the field of medicine.
According to Dr. Ranjit Upadhyay, director of Vinayaka Hospital, the patient who is a woman of 45, was referred to the hospital by the Ayurvedic doctor Dr. Anil Yadav. Dr. Yadav said that a woman patient has to be operated. Her tumor was quite large & had to be removed. According to Dr. Yadav, he checked with many medical facilities, but no one was ready to take on such a risk & challenge. On this, Dr. Ranjith expressed his desire to see the patient. After examining the patient’s condition, he realized that the situation was quite delicate. The woman was having a great deal of trouble breathing. There was a lack of blood in the patient’s body and the oxygen level was also very low. The biggest problem was that the patient’s family was not in a financially strong position. Even today the entire bill of the hospital has not been paid, but the team of Vinayaka Hospital took this case as a challenge and started preparing for the operation, regardless of the money. The first woman was brought to the operation level, because her health was not well. After this, after four to four and a half hours long surgery, Dr. Ranjit Upadhyay’s team succeeded and after the successful operation, a tumor weighing more than 12 kg was removed. In the operation, along with the tumor, the woman’s uterus and other dysfunctional organs were also removed, due to which the patient felt a lot of relief. The situation improved so much that the woman was discharged within five days.
