Navi Mumbai : Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation inspected the work of the final phase of Covid-19 Testing and Diagnosis (Rt-PCR Fully Automatic Lab) laboratory set up at Maasaheb Meenatai Thackeray Hospital at Nerul. Performed by Mr. Eknath Shinde. He expressed satisfaction over the fact that the Corporation’s own lab, which conducts more than 1000 Covid 19 tests daily, is becoming available to the citizens of Navi Mumbai. He hoped that the report would be received within 24 hours by the lab and the spread of Covid 19 would be stopped with early diagnosis.
Municipal Commissioner Shri Abhijeet Bangar gave detailed information about the working of the lab to the Guardian Minister. The Guardian Minister got to know the process of the equipment in the lab and its working method in detail and gave basic instructions. On this occasion Thane Lok Sabha Member MP Shri Rajan Vichare, Mumbai Slum Improvement Committee Chairman Shri Vijay Nahta and other dignitaries were present.

Similarly, Mr. Eknath Shinde, Guardian Minister and Urban Development Minister of Thane District, visited the Plasma Donation Camp organized at Apollo Hospital and appreciated this initiative. Thane Lok Sabha Member MP Shri Rajan Vichare, Mumbai Slum Improvement Committee Chairman Shri Vijay Nahta, Municipal Commissioner Abhijeet Bangar, Managing Head of Apollo Hospital Shri Santosh Marathe and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Since there is currently no drug available on the corona, plasma is a very important component in the blood of patients who have recovered from coronary artery disease, and plasma therapy seems to be critical to saving a patient’s life. Therefore, this step taken by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation in collaboration with Apollo Hospital through Plasma Donation Camp is commendable. Not to mention the citizens who have recovered from the corona who are voluntarily coming forward for plasma donation. Mr. Eknath Shinde appealed to every citizen to observe self-discipline to keep Corona away from them. At this time, the citizens who donated plasma were given testimonials by the Minister.
