Navi Mumbai : To curb the spread of Covid 19, the Municipal Commissioner Shri. Abhijeet Bangar took a closer look at the Koparkhairane Divisional Office and took a detailed look at the measures being taken in the Containment Zone.
While various measures are being taken for the prevention of Covid 19 in the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation area, is it actually being implemented properly? The Commissioner Mr. Abhijeet Bangar focused and after a surprise visit to the Municipal Corporation’s Dedicated Covid Hospital at Sector 10 Vashi, the Commissioner visited the Koparkhairane Divisional Office and reviewed the proceedings mainly in the restricted area. Thus the Commissioner has started holding review meetings at the ward level.
In this, the commissioner has asked six of the concerned departments. The Commissioner as well as the Medical Officer of the Civil Health Center in the concerned departmental office area took detailed information about the three categories of Restricted Area 1, 2 and 3 as well as the procedure for declaring it as Restricted Area.
At the same time, the commissioner suggested that the departmental offices should provide such facilities to the citizens of the restricted areas by taking care of the supply of necessities of life and for this the cooperation of the office bearers of the society and NGOs should be sought.
The 42 areas in which the highest number of corona-infected patients have been found have been declared as Special Restricted Areas in the third category. Abhijeet Bangar pointed out the priority and directed to take more strict action in this regard. Municipal Department Office, Civil Health Center and Local Police Department have notified.
