Mira Bhayander: CM Uddhav Thakrey was on a Video call with Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sirnaik of Owla Majhiwada assembly – 146 Mira Road on Thursday.
There were a few points which was put forward by Shiv Sena MLA regarding private schools. He futher said a lower middle class person earns about 25000rs a month and he still has to pay yearly fees nearly 30000 to 80000 single term per student and a middle class person child in CBSE,ICSE, etc has to pay fees more than 1 Lakh single term per child so MLA requested to the CM if there could be any relief provided to these parents by waiving off 1st term fees who are unable to send their children to school, but still have to pay for the schools even a lot are of them are not getting their salaries or not earning from businesses due to lockdown, since the school will start its admission procedure of the 1st term from June and the parents will have to make the payment. Also they discussed the situation related to Covid-19 of Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) and MLA Pratap Sirnaik put forth a request to open a Covid Testing Lab within the MBMC Juridiction so the process of testing is much quicker and hence to make it more efficient to handle the situation. CM Uddhav Thakrey well noted the points and will get back to him he said. Shiv Sena MLA also thanked CM for approving his previous request of setting up a special Covid hospital in the region.
